Watching The Kids

So, I watched the kids today for about 6 hours or so, from 1:15 to about 7:30, and spent practically the whole day playing with them down at the park. So, here is how it went, I took the kids down to the park and they played, ran around, Lyle and Zoe played on the playground and for practically 4 hours, which was about how long we spent down at the park, Isis and I just swung on the swings, which I tried to teach Zoe to do it but she just wanted to be pushed, however Lyle actually started getting the hang of it until he decided to go chase some random kid around. Anyways, I had fun, I hadn't been on a swing since I was 10, my last year of normal school so I was glad to be able to swing on a swing again. I saw an old friend of mine there, a girl named Addy who I use to hang out with in Elementary school, ironically she is also the person who taught me to push myself on the swings (push out legs, pull back legs), though we didn't talk really or anything, just didn't feel right, I mean we haven't seen each other since I was 11, which was when she spent the night, for my 11th birthday she spent the night for a couple days, but I lost her number and we never saw each other after that, which was almost 3 years ago. Strangely she looked almost the same, except slightly taller and with a more feminine figure than before (I say feminine figure to be politically correct), but other than that her face and her voice were practically the same, which, while I am still recognizable, I still look far different than I use to, and I also sound completely different, as I use to have a very childish voice, whereas Addy's was always more mature. Well, it was nice to see her again, this is how I figure I can tell if anyone I use to know has died, which strangely no one has. I say strangely not because I expect them to die or anything, but with as many kids as I use to know I would think at least one would, with the amount of traffic accidents, or regular accidents, freak accidents, and such, and yet none have. Of course this is a good thing, since I have no one that I can truly say I wish was dead, and I never have really, although I use to tell people when I got mad at them that I wished that they were dead, I never really meant it. Anyways, I had a very good day, and am very happy with how me and the kids spent it, maybe we can do it again next week, that is, if I watch them.

Rambling

Work yesterday was fun, and terrible, all at the same time. My uncle Harold and Teresa, who is now my aunt, got married yesterday, though unfortunately I couldn't be there because of having to watch the kids. Anyways, yesterday was just the basics of saying "I do", but the actual reception won't be held until today, or are supposed to be held today, at our house. Not sure if it will happen here though, since they might do it at Tammy's instead, oh well. Yesterday was fun with the kids, but their were a lot of injuries, Isis took Lyle's toy lawn mower, one of things things with the little balls that pops up as it is pushed, and she hit me upside the head with it, and then tried to continue hitting me with it. So I chased her, trying to take it away, into Lyle's room, where the handle is broke from the inside, so I closed the door and she was trapped into. I told her I'd let her out if she put the toy down, but she just kept hitting the door with it, and then she finally put it down, I opened the door a little bit, and she picked it up again and tried to hit me through the small crack, so we kept doing this for about 5 minutes before she decided to put it down and come out. Then, her and Zoe were play fighting and I was trying to put a stop it it, and when I pulled Isis off of Zoe, she kicked Zoe square in the forehead, so, in order to calm her down I had to get her a snack and some food, and coddle her for a little while. Then, when I was playing a game with the kids, inside of course (the antibiotic I'm on makes it so I can't go outside because of the sunlight, so I have three pills left, so after today and tomorrow I can go out again, yay!), Isis, who was on the top bunk of the girls bunk bed, started bouncing lightly on the bunk, I told her to stop because she'd get hurt, but she was barely really doing anything so I didn't do anything, figured she'd stop on her own. Then she, out of nowhere, bounced up again, quite high this time, and hit her head into the ceiling. She started crying like crazy and refused to get down from the bunk herself, so I had to carry her down and take her into the living room. Then Bryan stepped into the door at the exact second as I was carrying Isis into the living room, and he got her an icepack to put on her head. After that she was fine, she had already done her schoolwork so Isis and Zoe stayed in their room, playing and watching tv, and Lyle brought out all of his cars (he has about 50 of those hot wheels) and started playing with them. When I say Bryan got home, I mean from disc golfing, see he originally got home at about 3:20, as Rachel was getting ready to leave for work, and he asked if I would like to watch the kids when he went disc golfing, see when he gets home from work I'm supposed to go home, but I agreed, mainly because I wanted some extra money, and he went disc golfing and got home around 6. See, because of Harold and Teresa's wedding, I didn't end up getting picked up to go home until about 6:45 or 7, so I spent the rest of the time rubbing Bryan's arm and back, as he had hurt his arm while throwing the discs, and then said his back got hurt from sitting on the couch, mainly because he just wanted his back rubbed, so I did that for about 45 minutes to an hour. It wasn't bad though, Lyle was in there asking him about the names of the cars, and playing with them. Earlier in the day it wasn't as good, I got there while Rachel was in the shower, so the kids let me in (although the big door wasn't even shut, and the screen door was not locked, so I could have just walked in if I wasn't as patient and polite), and when Rachel was in the shower Zoe started screaming and crying about something that was apparently in the bathroom, first she said it was a bug, then she said the towel had scared her, and then she said it was a sound, so I never did figure out what had scared her (though when she first started screaming I nearly had a heart attack as she was screaming like a banshee, and I had thought someone had broken into the house and was freaking out). Anyways, when Rachel got out she seemed to be in a bit of a bad mood, and then when Bryan got home and revealed that he was going disc golfing she was in an even worst mood, I believe she may have been upset because he went disc golfing the night before, and I guess she must not have wanted him to go (Bryan said she thinks that he is cheating on her, which he isn't, so whenever he goes disc golfing she thinks he is cheating.), but oh well, if it works out it works out, if not at least they never got married. Anyways, I was pretty tired after getting home, after having ran around all day chasing after the children, and then spending nearly an hour rubbing Bryan's arm and back, so I went to sleep (actually I didn't go to sleep until around 10, though I laid down hours before that, I just couldn't fall asleep). So, I have to watch the kids today, which should be ok, so long as we can avoid any injuries, ;). Haven't gotten dressed yet, which I know, since it's 12:04 PM here, it may seem weird, but I haven't gotten dressed because I haven't gone anywhere, but I will in a few minutes. Shorts and tee, of course, though I don't have any sandals so I wear my little white socks and size 5 tennis shoes. So, gonna go get something to eat and get ready, I haven't eaten yet, but don't know what I'm gonna get, sometimes I can be a picky eater.

Nothing new

So, nothings new since an hour ago, oh well. I'm making this post for networked blogs to work, but I don't know if it will work.

Spring is Here!

Wow, so Spring is finally here, and it feels so perfectly natural too! Also, this is my first blog post, so yay! Anyways, I always say that Winter is my favorite season, which it is, I love the beauty of it and the cold, but next to it would be Spring. First, I love how the air is in Spring, it is so pure and fresh, Second, it is finally warm and I can walk outside barefoot in the dew covered grass once again, and Third I love the rain and storms that come with Spring, I love high winds and thunder and lightning lighting up the sky, I think they are wonderful! So yes, while Winter is my favorite season, Spring is my second favorite, then Autumn, and then Summer. Here are my reasons why Autumn is next, the beauty, with the leaves changing color and blowing all around, the reasonable temperatures, like Spring, Autumn is neither to hot nor to cold, it is perfect, and third, just like Spring, I love the storms. Summer is my least favorite, and not because I don't enjoy wearing shorts and tank-tops, because I do, but just because I'm not a fan of the hot, dry air, and I have never learned to swim, so during the Summer, while everyone else goes swimming, alas, I do not. Also, I have rather pale skin which never tans, however it does get sunburned, so in the Summer, both because of the sweltering heat and intense Sun rays, I am cooped up inside most of the time, which is so very drab.

On to the main topic here. So today, while dreadfully bored this afternoon, I decided to lie down and watch some tv, well I was trying to take a nap, but it didn't work, this is why it did not work. While attempting to nap the Sun was seeping in through the blinds, this of course was because of the Daylight Savings yesterday which caused us to push the clock forwards, so that what was 6 is now 7, so since 6 is so bright, now it is 7 that is that bright. Anyways, even though I drew the blinds, Sunshine still managed to seep in through the ends of the blinds, and through the curtains that were hung on the living room door (basically see-through curtains), so this made it impossible to nap. Also it is now warm, not very warm though, I still need a jacket when going outside, as it is about 45-50 degrees, but it is still warm, and even warmer in the house with beautiful Sun rays (but bothersome) seeping in through the blinds and curtains. Now, I don't know if Sunshine and warmth causes this to anyone else, but I can't stand wearing clothes when it is warm out, or even partially warm out. I usually sleep in clothes in the winter, meaning short sleeved tee and pajama bottoms or even pants (I'll change my pants before bedtime, take them off, get a shower, and put on another pair so 2 pairs per day, wierd huh?), but in the Spring and Summer, and early Autumn, I just want to run around the house naked, or more so partially naked (I don't like sleeping in the nude because no one ever really knocks when going into my room and I'm not allowed to lock my door at not due to my grandparents irrational fear that a fire will start blazing in the middle of the night and that I, apparently to stupid, will not be able to unlock my door. Plus I'm sleeping on the couch because I killed a spider in my room, and I have an irrational fear of spiders, and yes, you heard me, I can, at times, be irrational, but only about spiders.), so I will generally sleep in the Spring, Summer and Autumn in panties and a tank top at night.
Anyways, unable to sleep I went back into my bedroom, despite my irrational fear of spiders both of my computers are in here, so I will continue to come in here, but will not sleep in here. Here in my bedroom I started messing around, and viewed some comments, mainly those on how I've gone "goth" again. Let me clarify this, I am not, nor will I ever be goth, and I never have been either. At the age of 12, for about 2 weeks, I pretended to be goth because I thought it was funny, however it did not work too well, seeing as at the age of twelve I had the appearance of a 9 or 10 year old. Anyways, the reason people say I am back to being "goth" is because I'm wearing black eyeshadow again, which is what I used to wear all the time, along with dark red, dark blue, brown, dark purple, dark green, dark whatever, etc, a few months ago, however stoppd and switched to lighter colors, or actually brighter colors, mainly bright pink, bright red, orange and yellow, though occasionally bright blue, green and purple as well. Well, anyways, I wore dark colors because I liked them, and wore bright colors cause I wanted to, never because I was goth or punk or whatever, but because it was my choice and I liked them. So now I am wearing my black eyeshadow/eyeliner combination again, which is my favorite classic combination, and I am doing so because it is my FAVORITE combination, not because I am emo, punk, goth or whatever else people want to classify me as, I'm not a test subject for, I am a girl with brown (well black now) hair, blue eyes, and short stature (5'2 O_o) who just wants to be left unclassified, OK.

Also just wanted to say, my spider bite, which I got while sleeping in my bedroom, is doing much better, it had gotten infected within hours of receiving it, it got infected apparently as I slept, with the Staph infection which the spiders must have transferred or something, and it had to be cut open, a small cut about a size of a pencils tip. Anyways, the bite was on my face, on my right cheek, however has almost completely healed, only the scab is left, and is no longer swollen, and the infection is gone. In about 4-5 days it should be completely healed and the scab will fall of itself, so no worries. It has been bothered at all, and was never to serious, so it shouldn't leave a scar, yay!

So, I think I am finished rambling, I decided to post what I consider to be far too long of a blog post mainly because this is my first real blog post, I've made others, just they weren't that serious, so, oh well.

Here is a picture of me from a couple of weeks ago while wearing a light orange eyeshadow

And this is me last year with the dark makeup that I use to wear, although this is done in a more Columbia (from The Rocky Horror Picture Show, she was played by Little Nell, duh!) fashion that I love, because I don't usually wear blush, or at least not that pinkish shade their. Usually it's more of the eye thing, don't really like blush too well. As you can see, Ialways have loved to make weird faces, which has not changed., and I doubt it ever will Anyways, if you managed to read this all the way through to the end, congratulations, you are very attentive, and I am amazed that you actually cared enough about such stupid things to read all the way through, and, for that, I thank you. @^_^@
